Erv hit a good drive down the middle of the fairway. His 7-iron went right into a bunker right of the green. A large mound separated the bunker from the green. Erv managed to get the ball out of the trap but it hung up on the downhill side of the mound and short of the green. His chip shot from a severe downhill lie somehow found the hole for a par.
Ben hit his driver long as usual but it faded into the left rough. He left an 8-iron short, chipped on with a pitching wedge and made the putt for a par.
