Hole 7
Index Hole Number 7, par 3, 129 yards. The green is situated on a narrow point of land that juts into the sea about 100 feet below the tee. The green is surrounded by deep bunkers. The tee is at the top of a steep cliff with no protection from the 20 mile an hour wind that was blowing toward the hole. Below us on a rocky beach lay a half dozen or so harbor seals and several pups.

After much discussion about what club to hit, Erv hit his approach wedge into the left bunker. After two tries with a sand wedge he managed to get the ball up on the fringe of the green from where he chipped on and 2 putted for a triple bogey 6.

Ben hit his pitching wedge straight at the pin but the ball rolled to the back of the green and stopped on the fringe. He 3-putted for a bogey 4.
