Erv's drive with a pitching wedge was a high arching shot was pin high to the left of the green in deep rough. His chip with a sand wedge only went about 3 feet toward the green which sloped downward toward the ocean. His second chip landed on the green but went 40 feet past the hole. He managed to 2-putt from there for a bogey 4.
Ben also hit a pitching wedge that was right on line with the pin but stopped about 15 feet short of the hole. He had a sharp left to right putt for birdie that just missed and he tapped in for a par.
